Dan Karr – Founder and Author
Wish2Know was founded by Dan Karr after being hit by a car and landing in intensive care. Following a difficult physical recovery things got really complicated. Dan’s health insurance company, and the auto insurance company of the driver that hit Dan — who was 100% at fault — both refused to pay the medical bills. As a final resort Dan turned to his own auto insurance company, who routinely misquoted his medical records making it appear as if the injuries were not a result of the accident.
After years of working through this challenging and life altering situation, Dan decided to pay forward his knowledge about insurance to help others. In addition to starting Wish2Know as an educational publishing company, Dan founded ValChoice, a technology company that uses data mining and analytics to provide consumers and insurance agents and brokers an analysis of which insurance companies are best, and worst.
